If you’re feeling stuck or overwhelmed by identity or relationship stress, therapy is a space where you don’t have to hold it together.
I’m Yael, and I work with individuals and couples navigating identity, relationships, and mental health challenges. Together, we focus on building clarity around your needs, setting boundaries, and developing communication strategies that actually work in your life.
My clinical focus is relationship models and identities that are often misunderstood or overlooked, including non-monogamy, kink dynamics, queer identities, and neurodivergence. You won’t need to explain the basics. We can start from a shared understanding and go deeper into what matters most to you.
My approach is collaborative, straightforward, and paced around your readiness. I draw from a range of therapeutic modalities, adapting to what fits you. Together, we’ll identify the patterns and underlying drivers behind your experiences to create practical, targeted strategies for change.
My practice is inclusive, trauma-informed, and affirming of LGBTQIA+ identities, sex work, kink, and diverse relationship structures.
The best way to know if I’m the right fit for you is to connect. I offer a free consultation with no pressure, so you can get a sense of how I work and whether it feels right for you.

Welcome. Relationships can bring us joy, self-discovery, and fulfillment. They can also involve pain, misunderstandings, and conflict. I work with couples who feel stuck—whether it’s a loss of trust, communication issues, or a sense of disconnection—and help them find new ways to reconnect, rediscover, and grow together.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. I draw from Gottman Couples Therapy (Levels 1 & 2), along with mindfulness, CBT, and parts frameworks, to support partners in understanding each other more deeply, managing conflict more effectively, and rebuilding intimacy—both emotional and physical.
I bring an anti-oppressive, intersectional perspective to my work, honouring each partner’s unique story, identities, and lived experiences. I believe every couple can strengthen their relationship when given the right tools and a safe space to explore.
Alongside my work with couples, I hold a Master of Education in Counselling and Psychotherapy from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Social Work from Toronto Metropolitan University, with additional training in sex therapy, conflict resolution, and grief support.
If you and your partner are ready to rebuild trust, improve communication, and rediscover your connection, I’d be honoured to walk alongside you in that process.
